    MattDangles, how do you know that white tea is better for people? Even dark chocolate beats out tea for catechins. Tea is good for you. It is associated with healthier bones for regular drinkers and probably many of the same antioxidant benefits coffee has but I’m pretty sure that it cannot be said that cup for cup tea is better for a person than coffee. A plus for tea over coffee might be that is has something like a third of the caffeine (depending on brew) IF you are caffeine sensitive.

    coffee also increases exercise capabillities and is good for the liver amongst other things.
    One thing though, what has platelet aggregation got to do with teeth cavities? maybe i misunderstood something…

    although there are …
    although there are benefits to drinking coffee the major drawback is its addictive properties. i drink only white tea which in many ways is even better for you and with a fraction of the caffeine. it also tastes delicious.
